I’ve been writing and working for the web now for around half of my life, but I’ve never my own personal blog. Today, May 16 2011, this changes. Hurrah! In this post, which I’m unsure will ever be read by anyone as it’s being published on a brand new blog I’ll tell you a little something about me, what I do and what you can expect from this blog!

1. Who am I?
I am Josh. I am (currently) 20. I am studying for a degree in Computer Science Southampton’s rather amazing School of Electronics and Computer Science.

2. What do I look like?
A bit like Dave from Big Brother 10. ‘Appaz’

3. What do I do?
A lot. Too much in fact. As well as studying full time I also write a hell of a lot for various websites. Specifically, I own the spyka Web Group company which, formed in ’2006-ish’ owns a few online brands in a number of verticals: Television, music, moves, web design, open source, education, e-learning, freebies and premium content.

As well as writing I also design websites, program for the web, create applications and be generally quite boring and ‘geeky’.

4. What can you expect from me?
Not a lot, I imagine. This blog is mainly created so I have place for random thoughts and junk that are too big for Twitter (follow me!) and not suitable for any of the sites I write for.
